If you’ve been thinking about grabbing a new HomePod mini or Apple TV setup, you might want to wait for a bit – at least for a little while. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg says Apple’s getting ready to drop refreshed versions of both devices.
In his Power On newsletter, Gurman reports that Apple retail stores are planning an overnight reset on November 11. Staff will swap out displays and set up new products before the doors open the next morning and Gurman thinks it could coincide with the launch of the new Apple TV and HomePod mini models.
Both models are expected to debut Apple’s new Siri and Apple Intelligence features, which roll out next year. These devices could help reposition Apple as a smart home brand, particularly as its eyeing up further launches in 2026.
So if you were about hit checkout on one of the best smart speakers you can buy, it might be smart to hold off – for now, at least.
