Eufy is once again raising the bar for home security and surveillance with the new Eufy Cam S4. This outdoor security unit is a solar-powered hybrid camera that packs a 4K fixed bullet lens alongside dual 2k pan-tilt-zoom cameras. What you get is full 360-degree coverage, smart tracking, and detailed facial recognition that works up to 15 metres away – all in one tidy package.
Earlier this year, Eufy debuted the PoE NVR Security System S4 Max, the world’s first NVR powered by an AI model called the Local AI Agent. That system introduced Eufy’s tri-cam bullet and PTZ cameras for complete 360-degree surveillance.
Now with the EufyCam S4, the company brings the same multi-angle protection in one unit. This means you don’t need multiple cameras to cover your space. The 4K wide-angle bullet lens keeps an eye on fixed spots like your front door or driveway, while the dual PTZ cameras jump into action when something moves.
Eufy’s AI Tracking 2.0 keeps up in real time, tracking as people or cars cross the frame. Thanks to Intelligent Auto-Framing, the camera smoothly follows anyone up to 50 metres away. No more blind spots, just sharp, close-up footage when you need it the most.
It runs on a detachable 5.5W solar panel, Eufy’s most efficient one so far. Just an hour of sunlight is enough to recharge the camera. The solar panel comes with a tough ETFE coating, so it has enhanced durability against water, dust, and corrosion. Plus, if the sun disappears for a while, you can pop in a spare battery to keep things going, which is perfect in the winter months.
For motion detection, the S4 relies on both radar and PIR sensors, cutting down on false alarms. If someone tries to sneak in, the system triggers flashing red and blue lights, as well as a 105 dB siren, enough to send intruders running the other way.
Pair it with the HomeBase S380, and you unlock BionicMind AI for local facial and object recognition. Everything stays secure and private. You also get features like Cross-Cam Tracking and 24/7 Snapshots without draining the battery.
The EufyCam S4 is now available for £248. If you want the 2-camera kit with HomeBase, that’ll be £549, while the 4-camera bundle comes in at £949.
