RayNeo has launched its latest-generation smart glasses, the RayNeo Air 4, in China.

The new model is a significant upgrade over its predecessors, focusing on a premium, immersive media experience with the integration of Bang & Olufsen-tuned audio and advanced HDR10-capable micro-OLED displays.

Weighing in at just 76 grams, the Air 4 is a direct competitor to ‘smart viewers’ like those from Xreal, designed to act as a private, wearable cinema for media and gaming.

The glasses feature tandem micro-OLED displays with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and a custom Pixelworks chipset. New for this generation is support for 10-bit color and HDR10, which, combined with a 3840Hz high-frequency dimming system, promises better contrast, richer colors, and less visual fatigue. Rayneo also states that the glasses have a new AI feature that can convert SDR content to HDR in real time.

The second major upgrade is audio. The Air 4 integrates a dedicated digital signal processing (DSP) chip, and the audio system has been professionally tuned by Bang & Olufsen. Rayneo claims this delivers “flagship headphone-level” sound quality.

Rayneo is offering the Air 4 in two variants in China: a standard version for CNY 1,599 (approx. $224) and a Pro model for CNY 1,799 (approx. $253), which adds support for 3D Audio.

While this is currently a domestic launch, Rayneo (and its parent TCL) typically brings its hardware to the global market within a few months, so a wider release next year is likely. Stay tuned for more on this—it’s one we’re half-expecting to see and test out on the showroom floor at CES 2026.
