The flagship adventure watch, released only in September, is now available for $699.99—a full $99 (12%) off its standard $799 list price.
This is a fantastic opportunity to grab Apple’s top-tier 2025 smartwatch before the Black Friday rush.
Interestingly, this new price also brings the US cost more in line with the reduced launch price we saw in other regions, such as the UK’s RRP of £750 this year.
For a device this new, seeing a 12% drop is almost unheard of, making it a very tempting pre-holiday deal.
Why the Ultra 3 is the best smartwatch you can buy
This is a five-star deal on a five-star product. In our Apple Watch Ultra 3 review, we called it a powerful evolution, solidifying its status as the best overall smartwatch money can buy. It’s not a radical reinvention, ultimately, but it refines the Ultra formula with key upgrades.
The most significant of these is the larger, brighter display. Apple reduced the bezels to increase the active screen area by 5% within the same 49mm case. We found this change instantly noticeable and said it “transforms the user experience,” making everything from Apple Maps to workout complications much easier to read.
This model also introduced satellite connectivity for Emergency SOS and text messaging (in North America, currently), providing a safety net that rivals are only just starting to match. We also found its dual-frequency GPS and optical heart rate sensor to be class-leading, consistently matching or beating dedicated sports watches and chest straps in our most demanding tests.
While its battery life doesn’t hit the multi-week standard of a Garmin Fenix, it’s still a solid 2-3-day device with regular use, which is a massive quality-of-life upgrade over the daily charging required by other Apple Watch devices in the family.
At its full price of $799, it’s a huge investment. At $699.99, it’s a much more compelling proposition—and likely the best price you’ll see on this model for a long time.
